Follow in the footsteps of the famous poet William Wordsworth as we take you on a half day tour of Grasmere with a guided walk around this beautiful village surrounded by, "The sweetest landscape that art ever attempted to imitate" (Thomas Grey 1769). We visit the Wordsworth family graves and view his former homes - Dove Cottage (Wordsworth's house from 1799 to 1808), Allan Bank and The Old Rectory. Afterwards there is a choice of travelling to his final home at Rydal Mount (Wordsworth's house from 1813 to 1850), or taking a trip via Red Bank to Elterwater with fantastic views of the Langdale Pikes.
